Audition Details

*Sign-up sheet will be posted on the audition room door and will be available on a first come, first sing basis. This includes musician’s auditions. If there is a conflict with a Fine Arts event, do not sweat it! Just come after your event and we will work you in.

*ALL applicants can choose to audition on Friday or Saturday, (musicians – 10 minutes, vocals – 5 minutes) whichever works best for your schedule.

*Please prepare a 90 second portion of a song of your choice for your audition. (Please no A Cappella auditions)

*You may sing by soundtrack or use live accompaniment. The track must be on an electronic device. All auditions are limited to 90 seconds.

*If you are auditioning for the band, please prepare a 90 second solo that will showcase the range of your abilities. Our band director will walk you through the rest of your audition having you play different styles and tempos. Please bring your own equipment for your instrument. Sound system and drums are provided.

*While in-person auditions are our preference, we are allowing for students to request a virtual audition this year. Please email [email protected] if you would like to make a request for a virtual audition. Your virtual audition will be scheduled during the weekend of April 2 and 3, 2027.

*Friday & Saturday, June 11-12, 2027-ASC Retreat Weekend (mandatory) – Location: Campground.*You MUST attend to go on tour!

*Thursday, June 3, 2027 – fee deadline-Total Choir fee balance of $250.00 is due to District Office by this date! You will be responsible for your spending money, lunches each day and for all food on our days off.

*June/July 2027- Attend Arkansas Youth Camp of your choice. You MUST attend a camp to go on choir tour.

*Sunday, July 11 – Sunday, July 18, 2027- ASC 2025 Choir Tour *Students are required to attend the ENTIRE tour! If you are unable to attend the ENTIRE tour, your spot will be given to an alternate.

IMPORANT INFORMATION - If you are selected as a member of the choir, you are expected to attend the retreat and be present for the entire tour, including the chartered transportation and staying in host homes each night with your tour partner (TP). These homes are carefully vetted by the local church and are a major ministry opportunity while on tour.
